You don’t have to be whole to be beautiful.

What is Metanoia?

Metanoia is not a change of mind. It is a transformation of the soul — a turning inward, a quiet revolution of perspective.

It is the courage to look at oneself honestly. To accept the phases we move through. To understand that becoming is not a destination, but the journey itself.

It is the realization that beauty lives beyond perfection — in the unfinished, the weathered, the quietly luminous.

The moon is the symbol of this philosophy.

Never the same, yet always whole. It teaches that transformation is not loss — that there is light within darkness, and that every phase of becoming holds its own quiet completeness.

Metanoia is the art of becoming whole by embracing every part of yourself.

Selected Works

MOON & REEDS

MOON & REEDS

Moon & Reeds captures the quiet poetry of nature, where light, wind, and stillness exist in perfect balance. Delicate reeds rise beneath the moon, their gentle forms suggesting resilience through flexibility rather than force. Soft, earthy tones and layered textures create a contemplative atmosphere, inviting the viewer to pause and reconnect with the calm rhythms of the natural world.

THE NOBLE STAG

THE NOBLE STAG

The Noble Stag explores the harmony between strength and wisdom. A geometric golden stag emerges from a circle of flowing Persian calligraphy, where language transforms into form and symbolism. Representing dignity, resilience, and quiet confidence, the artwork bridges contemporary design with cultural heritage, inviting the viewer to reflect on the enduring connection between identity and nature.

Ta’liq

Ta’liq

Ta’liq explores the delicate space between certainty and uncertainty, presence and absence. A single thread appears to suspend a form woven from Arabic calligraphy, creating a moment of quiet tension where nothing has fully fallen and nothing has completely settled. Set against luminous gold, the composition reflects the beauty of existing between two states, reminding us that transformation often unfolds in moments of suspension rather than resolution.

HICH

HICH

Hich is inspired by the Persian concept of nothingness—not as emptiness, but as a space of infinite possibility. Split across two canvases, a circular composition emerges through layers of Arabic calligraphy, revealing that absence can be as meaningful as presence. The dialogue between black script and luminous gold reflects the balance between the visible and the unseen, inviting the viewer to contemplate the quiet power found within simplicity.

SARV

SARV

Sarv takes its name from the Persian cypress, a timeless symbol of resilience, dignity, and rootedness in Iranian culture. Emerging from a rhythmic field of geometric calligraphy, the tree stands as a quiet reminder that true strength lies in remaining grounded while reaching upward. The dialogue between gold and deep green reflects the harmony of earth and light, tradition and renewal. Through a contemporary visual language, Sarv celebrates identity, endurance, and the enduring spirit carried through generations.

SILVER STAG

Silver Stag embodies quiet strength, resilience, and timeless elegance. Emerging from intricate Arabic calligraphy, the stag is framed within a circular composition that symbolizes unity, continuity, and balance. The luminous silver surface reflects its surroundings, allowing the artwork to subtly transform with changing light and perspective. The Artist

Narges Amiri is a contemporary visual artist whose practice moves between painting, contemporary calligraphy, and sculptural texture.

Trained in Graphic Design, her journey led from the precision of design into the intuitive freedom of painting — a passage shaped by more than four years of devotion to contemporary calligraphy and two years of professional practice in Dubai.

Her work explores minimalism, texture, and conceptual storytelling — surfaces that hold silence, transformation, and the quiet luminosity of becoming.

At the heart of her practice lies the philosophy of Metanoia: the profound inner transformation that turns acceptance into beauty.

She does not paint what is seen — she paints what is becoming.
